About Your Tasks and Responsibilities
QPS Netherlands BV in Groningen is part of a global organization and conducts drug research for international pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. For the department Netherlands Cellular and Immuno Analysis (NCIA) we are looking for a new colleague to join our team as a Scientist.
What will you do?
As Scientist, you are the project leader who is responsible for the execution of studies according to plan and budget. Part of your time you are in the lab working on assays that you are managing. You anticipate changes to the study plan and make sure that deviations are handled correctly according to the quality system. You will be the single point of contact for our clients, work closely with colleague scientists, technicians and team lead and will play an important part in the development of new medicines.
You will also:
Process data from analysis and communicate results to the sponsor
Search for scientific literature for studies and stay up to date about latest developments
Make sure that studies are executed according to GLP/GCP regulations and quality system guidelines
About Your Skills and Experience
PhD degree in bioanalysis, chemistry, biochemistry or comparable field or master’s degree with equivalent laboratory experience
Hands-on experience with executing, developing and validating biochemical and immunological techniques such as: ELISA, ECL, FACS, Enzyme Assays and Cell-Based Assays, preferably within a GLP environment
You are proactive, have excellent analytical skills and you can work well under pressure
You are experienced in managing projects, and you are familiar with quality guidelines according to GLP/GMP
You have good communication skills and are proficient both in writing and orally in the Dutch and English language
You are home-based in The Netherlands to work on-site in Groningen
